Driving the energy transformation is critical to reducing climate change. To limit climate risks, it is necessary to reduce the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

Our Production teams play an important role in driving that transformation.

Hexagon Agility, a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions, is driving the energy transformation in the transport sector. Our technology enables hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our team.

Job Summary: Supervise and coordinate activities of hourly production associates engaged in the manufacture of products in accordance with safety, quality, build schedule, and labor standards. Collaborate closely with the Production Supervisor, Maintenance, and Engineering to develop and improve production-related processes and equipment/tooling. This position is responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed on the designated shift in the designated area.

Duties and Responsibilities

Safety

  • Complete all reporting, including safety reports such as Near Miss and Incident Reports in required time frame.
  • Maintains compliance with safety programs and guidelines to ensure clean, orderly, and safe working conditions.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement safety improvements in designated work area

Quality

  • Ensure production employees understand and comply with Standard Work Instructions, Process Specifications, Inspection Records, Training Documents, and other work instructions.
  • Verify that all documentation requirements for the area are understood and adhered to
  • Verify quality of work and process knowledge of production personnel.
  • Assist and support Engineering and Maintenance with troubleshooting and determining root causes analysis of problems associated with manufacturing, testing and cycle time reduction
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement quality improvements that will help minimize scrap and maintain quality goals.

Delivery

  • Develop work schedules and assign work based upon analysis of production schedules.
  • Verify that production personnel are assigned to areas where documented training has been completed.

Productivity

  • Maintain time and production output goals as well as work cell OEE’s.
  • Support the team by removing roadblocks and providing tools and knowledge that will help them succeed.
  • Maintain time and production records and other reporting elements
  • Provide recommendations and support the implementation of for safety, quality, delivery, and process improvements.

Morale

  • Maintain a collaborative working relationship with all departments on all shifts
  • Set a positive example for team members regarding attitude and behavior

People Development

  • Support, train, and develop production employees in performance of assigned tasks and compliance with Company policies and procedures to achieve and maintain Operator Certification.
  • Teach and coach team members on why they do the tasks that they do
  • Inspect what you expect
  • Support production associates in professional development

General

  • Perform other functions as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Good analytical skills, problems solving skills, communication skills, project management skills and leadership skills.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word and MS Excel required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste handling.
  • Knowledge of general OSHA regulations.

Credentials and Experience

  • Supervisor experience is preferred.
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline, Business Management, or experience specific to Agility is preferred.

Other Skills/Abilities or Special Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 12 hours or more per day
