Hexagon Agility Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious CDL Driver to join our dynamic team located in Salisbury, NC, United States. As a CDL Driver in the manufacturing industry, we pride ourselves on delivering flawless products and solutions to our global customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Delivering chassis to next location
• Managing POD and BOL documents
• Performing pre-trip inspections
• Receiving chassis to the yard
• CNG and LNG fueling
• Supports production when needed
• Supports organizing and upkeep of outside yard: Moving chassis with pony tanks, breaking down wood pallets and or crates to place in dumpster, picking up trash in yard
• Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage
• Participates in 5s, end of day clean up actions
• Other duties as assigned by management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Inspires, motivates, and collaborates with others
• Self-motivated; able to work with minimal direction
• Anticipates needs and problems while creating solutions
Credentials and Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent experience or GED
• 1+ years’ experience in a warehouse environment
• 1+ years’ experience as a CDL Driver
• Class B or A CDL License
Work Environment
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
