Help us drive energy transformation on a production basis, performing moderate mechanical assembly work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Assembling structures according to engineering specifications, utilizing hand tools and portable power tools.

Hexagon Agility is a leading global provider of clean fuel solutions in the transport sector. Our technology enables hard to decarbonize segments – such as trucks and buses – to move from diesel to cleaner fuel alternatives.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven colleague that wants to work closely with our local operations team.

Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned)

  • Verifying conformance of materials to specifications using a variety of tools to achieve this objective.
  • Studying drawings, blueprints and/or work instructions to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
  • Cuts, bends, and machines parts to meet specifications.
  • Operate CNC Fabrication Equipment (Laser, Press Brake, 3 and 4 axis vertical machines)
  • Setting up and operating various fabricating machines that are needed to complete the assigned operations.
  • May layout and examine metals stock or materials to be processed.
  • Lifting or moving materials using a variety of devices.
  • Wear appropriate (PPE) personal protective equipment as required.
  • Troubleshoots and performs minor repairs to equipment.
  • Trains and guides new employees as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED and/or training certificate from trade school. 
  • Two years of experience related to metal forming, machining, and fabrication experience preferably in an automotive or aerospace environment. 
  • Good understanding of the physical properties of aluminum and steel. 
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. 
  • Previous experience/ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands:

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
