- Pretreatment
A five-stage multi-metal treatment is applied using the Chemetall Osxilian eco-friendly technology - Routing
After pretreatment, parts are routed either to a four-stage wet paint line or a two-stage powder coat line - Wet Paint Primer Booth
A high-performance epoxy primer/sealer is applied providing excellent durability and corrosion resistance - Wet Paint Base Coat Booth
Axalta two-component high-performance polyurethane base coast is applied providing excellent durability, appearance, and performance - Wet Paint Clear Coat Booth
Axalta two-component high-performance polyurethane clear coat is applied providing excellent durability and chemical resistance - Wet Paint Curing Oven
After the three-stage coating process, the part is baked to specification resulting in a high-performance finish - Powder Coat Booth
Axalta powder coat is applied to the part using a state of the art Gema powder coat system. Gema cyclone technology reclaims 99.9% of unused powder from booth, leaving close to zero waste or unused material - Powder Coat Bake Oven
After coating of selected powder color, the part is baked per specification to cure and harden the powder
